Open Gov Week is designed for anyone who believes citizens should play a role in shaping the policies that affect their lives. It features seminars, hackathons, public debates, webinars, open dataset releases and other events planned by citizens, civil society and governments.

This year, the #OpenGov community will focus on increasing the impact of open government through initiatives that tackle corruption, protect civic space, and ensure the inclusion of underrepresented voices.

During this week, there will be different kinds of open government related events all over the world. We will update this event description with events happening in Finland closer to May.
