Photographs about finnish food and drink culture from different eras

Suomi syö ja juo translates as Finland eats and drinks. It’s a project by twelve Finnish museums all taking part in the collaborative network of professional finnish museums called TAKO, which in turn is short for tallennus- ja kokoelmayhteistyöverkosto - again with the Finnish word monsters, right? Tallennus- ja kokoelmayhteistyöverkosto can be roughly translated as a collaborative network of preservation and collection work. It is a product of ongoing effort by Finnish museums to better coordinate and control our collections together.

This Autumn 2014 we have opened a selection of photographs from our collections to be used according to the CC-BY -license.
